All windows and doors have been tested to withstand well above a category five rated hurricane(we tested to an amazing 170 mile-per-hour winds). Tara Architectural Doors & Windows products are tested to IBC 2007 impact requirements.We offer the added benefit of insulated impact glazing standard on all our impact rated products. We offer Double Hung Weight and Chain and Hidden Balance windows, Fixed Sash Windows and Single and Double Outswing Casement windows without center posts. Tara’s impact products are suitable for all impact zones including waterfront.

Our Inswing Entry doors have been tested to withstand above category five rated hurricanes (tested to 170mile-per-hour winds),making them the highest tested doors in the industry.
All of our hurricane-rated products are manufactured with quality, exterior grade hardwoods for high durability, year after year. In addition, double-insulated glazing is standard. With options for low “E,” Argon and more, you get the best UV protection and energy efficiency available in the industry.
